UK Hospital Cyber Attack

A significant incident has been declared at a hospital due to "cybersecurity reasons."
In a statement published on its website, Wirral University Teaching Hospital confirmed that the ongoing issue at the Trust is expected to impact operations at Arrowe Park Hospital in Wirral.
The hospital is urging people to visit only if they are experiencing "a genuine emergency."
A spokesperson for the Trust stated,
"Our business continuity plans are in place, and our priority remains ensuring patient safety."
The statement continued: "However, this situation is likely to cause longer waiting times in the emergency department and assessment areas.
"We urge people to use the emergency department only in cases of a true emergency.
"For non-urgent matters, please consider using 111, walk-in centres, urgent treatment centres, GPs, or pharmacies."
